3 min read
Seattle’s startup ecosystem continues to produce a new wave of artificial intelligence companies tackling challenges across marketing, sales, leadership training, and climate intelligence.
The latest Startup Radar highlights five early-stage companies founded in 2024 and 2025, with venture capitalist Kyle Lui, general partner at Bling Capital, offering his perspective on each startup’s market opportunity and long-term potential.
Here’s a closer look at the emerging startups making headlines.
Bluepill
Founded: 2025
Bluepill is developing an AI platform that allows businesses to create digital customer personas capable of simulating how real consumers might react to advertising campaigns, product ideas, surveys, messaging, and marketing strategies.
The goal is to help companies test decisions before launching products, reducing risk and improving marketing outcomes.
The startup is backed by Pioneer Square Labs.
Founder and CEO Ankit Dhawan previously served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Allen Institute for AI (Ai2), co-founded virtual experience startup Virtuelly, and spent more than four years at Amazon leading product initiatives.
VC View: Kyle Lui believes traditional market research providers are vulnerable in the AI era but expects intense competition among companies building similar AI-powered research platforms.
Ecosided
Founded: 2025
Ecosided focuses on helping businesses understand climate-related risks through AI-powered analytics and decision-making tools.
Its platform aims to transform climate challenges into business opportunities by providing organizations with new frameworks, metrics, and strategic insights across supply chains and product development.
The company is currently bootstrapped.
CEO and co-founder Haixia Wang previously led data research at ZoomInfo and served as Senior Vice President of Research at Skift. Co-founder Vladimir Baranek brings more than three decades of technology industry experience, including several years at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
VC View: Lui sees significant opportunity in climate technology, provided the platform delivers measurable value for enterprise customers.
Flickboom
Founded: 2025
Flickboom is building an AI-powered platform that automates social media marketing.
The software creates marketing strategies, generates content, and publishes posts across multiple social media platforms, aiming to reduce businesses’ dependence on traditional marketing agencies.
The startup is currently bootstrapped.
Founder and CEO Yinhan Liu previously co-founded healthcare startup Birch AI and held positions at Facebook and eBay. She is joined by co-founder Shan Huang, who previously co-founded Forma Cloud and served as an engineering executive at Artera.
VC View: Lui believes replacing marketing agencies with AI represents a compelling opportunity but questions whether companies in this space can build sustainable competitive advantages over time.
Managerspring
Founded: 2024
Managerspring is an AI-powered coaching platform designed to help first-time and aspiring managers improve leadership skills through interactive role-playing exercises.
Often described as the “Duolingo for people management,” the app allows users to practice workplace conversations using AI-generated coaching scenarios.
The company recently launched its application for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro and remains bootstrapped.
Founder Tom Langan previously held senior product leadership roles at Meta, where he worked on Oculus and virtual reality products, as well as leadership positions at Hulu and Microsoft.
VC View: Lui praised the founder’s product experience but noted that management coaching has historically been a difficult category to scale into a large venture-backed business.
Proponent
Founded: 2025
Proponent helps B2B sales and marketing teams better understand customer conversations using artificial intelligence.
The platform analyzes customer interactions to identify buying priorities, pain points, and deal risks while learning from successful sales outcomes to improve future recommendations.
It integrates with popular business software including Gong, HubSpot, and Zoom.
The startup is also bootstrapped.
CEO and co-founder Prashant Mohite previously worked in product management at Paxafe and Datafi. He co-founded the company alongside Mathew Thekkadayil, who previously held management roles at Hemmersbach and About You.
VC View: Lui believes the product appears promising but questions whether its target audience of product marketing managers is large enough to support venture-scale growth.
Seattle’s AI Startup Scene Continues to Expand
The latest Startup Radar demonstrates Seattle’s growing strength in artificial intelligence entrepreneurship.
Rather than competing directly in foundation AI models, many local startups are applying AI to solve practical business problems in marketing automation, sales intelligence, leadership development, climate analytics, and customer research.
Supported by experienced founders and the region’s deep technical talent, these companies reflect Seattle’s continued evolution as an important hub for enterprise AI innovation.
