2 min read
Bellevue, Washington-based QorusDocs has acquired UK software company Shark Finesse in a move aimed at expanding the capabilities of its AI-powered sales proposal platform.
The acquisition allows QorusDocs to move beyond its core focus on proposal writing and request-for-proposal (RFP) responses by adding technology that helps businesses create data-driven return-on-investment (ROI) business cases.
Expanding Beyond Proposal Automation
Founded in 2012, QorusDocs provides artificial intelligence software that helps organizations create sales proposals, respond to RFPs, and streamline the document creation process.
With the addition of Shark Finesse, the company is broadening its product offering to support more stages of the sales cycle. Shark Finesse is known for software that enables businesses to build compelling ROI-based business cases, helping sales teams better demonstrate the financial value of their products and services to customers.
The acquisition strengthens QorusDocs’ position as a more comprehensive sales enablement platform powered by artificial intelligence.
Team Growth After the Acquisition
As part of the deal, five employees from Shark Finesse will join QorusDocs, increasing the company’s total workforce to 75 employees.
Although financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the transaction reflects QorusDocs’ continued investment in expanding both its technology and global presence.
Serving Global Enterprise Customers
Over the years, QorusDocs has built a customer base that includes major enterprise organizations such as Hitachi Energy, Ricoh USA, and NTT Data.
The company helps sales and proposal teams automate complex document creation, improve collaboration, and produce higher-quality proposals using AI-driven tools.
The latest acquisition is expected to strengthen those capabilities by integrating ROI-focused business case creation into the company’s platform.
Building on Previous Growth
QorusDocs has continued to grow since raising $10 million in funding in 2022, using artificial intelligence to simplify one of the most time-consuming parts of enterprise sales.
The company is led by CEO Ray Meiring, who has overseen its expansion in the competitive AI-powered sales software market.
By combining proposal automation with ROI business case generation, QorusDocs is positioning itself to offer businesses a more complete solution that supports customers from the initial proposal through value-based decision making.
The acquisition of Shark Finesse represents another step in the company’s strategy to enhance its AI-powered sales platform while expanding its capabilities for enterprise customers worldwide.
